From President Anne

Last Monday we had a vocational visit to the New Peninsula Mount Martha Men’s Shed. We thank Byron Groves for organising what was an incredibly informative experience and there was no doubt about how much we all enjoyed it!

Men’s Shed John Suttie gave us insight into the history of the shed and President Evan Crane spoke about the shed and invited us to have a look around.

It was hard for me to move past the laser machine where Andrew Graham was demonstrating what was possible and we talked about our Christmas decoration project. The opportunities to work with the Men’s shed are many and we have already seen their amazing skills with our Containers 4 Community cages.

It was great that Ray Martin had invited Allan Carter and Bob Chanter join us for dinner.
An informative experience visiting the

BGS Mock Interviews 26.6.25

Balcombe Grammar is asking for our assistance again this year for their Year 9 Mock Interview program. The interviews will take place on THURSDAY JUNE 26. We are asked to arrive around 8.15 and should be finished about 1.30. Morning tea and a delicious lunch are provided. (Please indicate if you have any dietary requirements.)

If you can help please let Phyl Scales know via email at phylscales@yahoo.com or by text on 0419 138 187.

This is a great program. We meet some wonderful young people and further strengthen our relationship with the school and local community so I hope that many of our club members will participate. If you haven’t taken part before, don’t worry as we do the interviews in pairs and the “old hands” will help you.
