Rotary Mount Martha Upcoming Events
From President Anne
What a brilliant meeting we had last Monday with the Mount Martha CFA.
We were welcomed by Captain Phil Mapleback and Community Safety Officer Samantha Pauly. We had a guided tour of the facility followed by a fantastic dinner.
If anyone wishes to make a donation please pay into the club account 633 000 126 265 388 with CFA and your surname.
Captain Phil told us that the $1,000 would be spent on signage on the Esplanade. We heard about their adopt a fire plug project and we can look at how our club can help support this project.
There was even a fashion show where we saw the new style uniforms.
Phil told us that they are in need of some foam branches for one of the tankers and any donations that come in from members and guests we will put towards getting these.
Our CFA truly does an incredible job and we look forward to building our relationship further.

Mark Morris from Volunteer Marine Rescue let us know this week that their skippers had attended the training which we funded.
"Below is a shot of the RIP Tour training conducted on 30 March. The Rotary Mount Martha donation in 2024 was for 9 skippers to conduct the training.
Thanks again to Rotary Mount Martha, VMR is better placed to conduct rescues and searches in this treacherous section of Port Phillip."
