This week was committee week and I attended the Community Service and Youth meetings.
We transferred $1,000 to Mount Martha Fire Brigade for the foam branches they are wanting to purchase.
I thought I would take this opportunity to share how we supported our local and international community over the past 12 months, as set out below.
This is what we do and we extend our gratitude to our all of our Community Supporters and Community Bank Mount Martha, and to all who support our projects.
Containers 4 Community
There is no question that our Containers 4 Community has been an outstanding success and Rob Davies has certainly been an amazing leader with this project! Peter Rawlings has kept up with the administration which is no easy task!
The term “Bin Chicken “ is now seen as a badge of honour and we thank all our bin chickens for their dedication and commitment.
Of course this project has tremendous environmental benefits, but let’s look at the financial rewards for our community.
Since November 2023 the Containers 4 Community project has collected 475,000 containers and raised $60,200!
This is truly a remarkable achievement!
