"Mount Martha Rotary is a group of dedicated volunteers who believe in service above self and building community. We are involved in a diverse range of activities that strive to improve life for others."
We enjoyed a wonderful evening on Tuesday night with Rotary Mount Eliza and Rotary Mornington at Toorak College. We heard from District Governor Peter Behm who spoke about many things in the District and the conference to be held in Tasmania in March.
We heard from DG Nominee Murray Wilson, President Jo (Mornington), President Anne (Mount Martha), President Jim (Mount Eliza and Frankston & Mornington Peninsula Rotary Community leader Peter Rawlings.
It was interesting hearing about what our neighbouring clubs are doing and we look forward to working with them on many future projects.

Bunnings 20.9.25
The Bunnings BBQ we have allocated $1,000 to the Peninsula Rotaract Nepal Project - with our profit on the day an excellent $1,994 given the conditions.
It was challenging with the serving done in the foyer and cooking in the wood yard given the wind conditions.

Wayne and Bill were legends, starting early, collecting bread and sausages and towing the trailer and of course cutting onions.

Padua Mock Interviews 15.9.25
On Tuesday, Rotarians from our Rotary Mount Martha participated in the Year 12 VCE Vocational major (VM) Mock Interviews at Padua College.
These students are not looking at university but in gaining an apprenticeship or employment instead. We were most impressed by the group who were engaing, friendly, motivated and gratful for our participation.
The future is in good hands!
We are returning to Padua on Tuesday 28 October to interview the year 11 VCE VM students so if if you would like to participate, please let Phyl Scales know.

Rotary Traditional Christmas Fruit Cakes and Puddings.
The club is once again selling Christmas cakes and puddings at thee same price as last year. Those who purchased cakes previously know how delicious they are!
The Christmas cake project is run by Rotary Melton Valley in D9800 who donate profits to The Rotary Foundation - and Rotary Mount Martha will be credited for the amount that we raise.
Rotary Mount Martha will make a small amount from the sale of each cake which will go into our club account.
Cakes come in a reusable tin for $22 or in a box for $20, and they will make a great gift for Christmas!
If you would like to order, then please contact Phyl Scales - phylscales@yahoo.com or text 0419 138 187 - and payment details will be advised on receipt of your order.
