At our last meeting we had a focus on Membership. Mark Dobson chaired the evening and we viewed some Rotary International videos and completed a survey. We will have future discussions on what we can do to strengthen our club and to build membership.
This week is our committee meetings and please remember that you are welcome to attend any of these sessions as we work to achieve great outcomes for our community.

Rotary Mount Martha this week
Celebration of Community 31.8.25
On Sunday 31 August, Rev Peter Wiltshire invited various community representatives to speak at the Mount Martha Community Uniting Church.
Speakers included, Evan from The New Peninsula Men's Shed, Ruth from Days for Girls, Louise from Mornington Community Support Centre, Lucy and Eva from Balcombe Grammar Interact - supported by Rachel Gray.
RCL Peter Rawlings spoke on the work Rotary is doing particularly for our homeless, with additional speakers from MND, Koala Conservation and the Women's Welsh Choir.
The Mount Martha Fire Brigade provided an address as well.
BGS Interactors Eva and Lucy spoke at the service and how Interact had been helpful to them this year.
Rotary Traditional Christmas Fruit Cakes and Puddings.
The club is once again selling Christmas cakes and puddings at thee same price as last year. Those who purchased cakes previously know how delicious they are!
The Christmas cake project is run by Rotary Melton Valley in D9800 who donate profits to The Rotary Foundation - and Rotary Mount Martha will be credited for the amount that we raise.
Rotary Mount Martha will make a small amount from the sale of each cake which will go into our club account.
Cakes come in a reusable tin for $22 or in a box for $20, and they will make a great gift for Christmas!
