  • Summer BBQ's
  • RCMM Dates for 2025
  • Rotary Mount Martha Upcoming Events
From President Anne

Welcome back-to Rotary for 2025!

We started the year with a dinner at Hickinbothams of Dromana. A great evening of good food, good company and a talk from Terryn Hickinbotham where we learned that most vignerons drink beer!

On the 13th January we had a meeting regarding the Containers 4 Community project which was very well attended and we continue to thank those who are helping to support, collect, administer and promote the project.

We have had a number of BBQs on the 27th December at Bunnings and the 11th January in the Village and the 19th January at Mount Martha Life Saving Club. Thank you to all involved.

This week we are hearing from the Southern Women’s Action Network about their work and advocacy, particularly around the housing for our homeless here on the Mornington Peninsula.

Gordon Morriss will ask members tomorrow night if they need a new Name Badge for either club meetings or community events. Please let Gordon know if you require a new name badge.

Roger Annear will also speak to the 2025 People Post Grants and the Mornington Outdoor Living & Caravan Expo.

We are not meeting on the 27th January, with 3rd February being our committee week.

On the 10th February we are visiting Volunteer Marine Rescue in Mornington so we will be passing around an attendance sheet and encouraging payment @$10 per head. VMR will be providing a BBQ dinner.

As we start this year let’s focus on the good that we do within our community and around the world.
