From President Anne
Monday night we had Mark Morris from Volunteer Marine Rescue as our speaker. He told us about the great work they do and how our $1,000 donation would be used for a technical training course for 9-10 of their skippers.
Mark was a very engaging speaker and had many stories to tell about rescues they had been involved in. We look forward to hearing from Mark again in the future.

This week we have our Changeover Dinner as we reflect on the great year we have had and the great year to come. Did we create some “Hope in the world”? I believe we did, with so many achievements which you all can be proud of.
We also kick off our new Rotary year with a BBQ fundraiser at Bentons Square in support of Mornington Community Support Centre and the homelessness.
Vale Bill Ewing
It is with deep regret that I advise that past member Bill Ewing died yesterday (Saturday), following a sudden collapse.
Funeral arrangements are not in place and are likely to be delayed.
Our loving thoughts go out to Hazel, family and friends at this difficult and sad time.
