Welcome to the 2025 - 26 Rotary Year!

What a wonderful Rotary Mount Martha Changeover we had last Monday! Thank you to all who were involved.

This week is our committee meeting week.

Please put in your diaries Monday 28th July, a social evening at the Dava Hotel, partners and friends welcome.

We enjoyed a wonderful changeover meeting last Monday which was chaired by Nick Roberts OAM.

It was an excellent occasion to induct our new member Bill Goodwin who was joined by his wife Julie. We really look forward to working with Bill.

We were delighted that visiting Rotarians President Nellie Tinga, and Chris Crewther MP and Rob Cook joined us along with our partners and Honorary Rotarians David Price, Gary Sanford and Gill Gordon. We thanked Gill for her wonderful contribution to our club as she is not continuing as an Honorary Member but will always be welcome as a guest.

Anne thanked our retiring board members Roger Annear, Gordon Morriss, Byron Groves and Rob Davies for their wonderful contributions this year.

Anne also welcomed the incoming Board for 2025-26, including Secretary Wayne Norris, Treasurer and President - elect Peter Rawlings, and Board Members PDG Ray Martin, Wayne Jenkins and Mark Dobson.

I had previously presented Peter Wiltshire with a President’s Award for his outstanding work with our Interact Club.

A President’s Award was given to Bill Cummins who Anne shared that she has tremendous respect for. “He truly is an outstanding Rotarian.”

Roger Annear did a sterling job organising the awards our Paul Harris Fellow awards again this year.

Rotary Mount Martha this week

Village BBQ with Mount Martha CFA 5.7.25

Our Village BBQ with the Mount Martha Fire Brigade and sponsored by the Community Bank Mount Martha raised $712!

Thank you to all who donated to our BBQ on Saturday in support of the Mount Martha CFA.

MCSC Winter Appeal

Dear Anne and Rotary Club of Mount Martha,

On behalf of the Mornington Community Support Centre, please accept our heartfelt thanks for your support of our 2025 Winter Appeal.

We’re excited to share that, thanks to your generous donation, we have raised $118,000 so far for our 2025 Winter Appeal - surpassing our ambitious $100,000 goal. Every dollar is making a real difference, helping us support those in our community who are doing it tough.

As a result of this year’s appeal, we can immediately start implementing increases in our emergency relief services due to the rise in cost of living.

Thank you for being part of something truly impactful and the work we do is only possible through the support of people like you - it is community helping community at its very best - and will continue to do the best we can to support people who need it most in our local community.

We value these incredible community partnerships enormously.

Pop in for a Toastie and a cuppa in our cafe if you are ever in the area!

Kind Regards,

Louise Cranwell, HR, Relationship + Communications Coordinator
