From President Anne

Thank you to all who attended our 50th Changeover dinner. It was a very enjoyable evening and wonderful to see so many partners and guests together with District Governor 9815, Colin Byron.

Roger Annear did a great job as always with the Paul Harris Fellow awards and these were presented to Michael Simmons and Lyn Rawlings with an additional sapphire for Colin Stokes who also received the President’s Award.

We celebrated our achievements over the past year and all the organisations we have supported to the tune of $38,411.

We go forward with our mission to give to our community and build on the great work we do!

Bentons Square 6.7.24

On Saturday we held another very successful BBQ and indoor stand at Bentons Square, this month supporting the Mornington Community Support Centre.

We were very thankful for donations of $198 and BBQ sales of $719.
Once again, our thanks to Andrew from Lindens Fresh Meats at Bentons for donating all the sausages for the day and to Bentons Square Shopping Centre for your ongoing and generous support.

Ingin, PNG School Water project

The first picture is particularly interesting as this is how the tanks and products were transported up and down very steep hills.

Work completed so far at Ingin Primary School, includes three water tanks plumbed and connected to the roof at various locations on school premises, with four taps installed throughout the school.

Two boys' and girls' toilet blocks built, including toilet seats which are now in use.

An elder of Ingin Village said, "No government has ever done this. Only the Rotary Clubs are being uplifted throughout the Southern Highlands”.
