from President Anne

VALE David Price PHF OAM

Honorary Rotarian passed 4.3.26

David has been a 20-year Honorary Member of Rotary Mount Martha and an active one at that. David enjoyed the fellowship of like-minded community volunteers and advocates, the stimulating speakers and impacting projects that we supported.

A truly wonderful family man, a friend to so many, who wholeheartedly loved his community.

Our loving thoughts and prayers are with wife Nancy, and children, Michael, Louise and Richard and their families at this saddest of times.

A Thanksgiving Service for the life of David Price will be held at St Marks Uniting Church, 50 Barkly Street Mornington on Friday 20 March commencing at 2pm. Live streaming via Bethel Funerals website, link below.

RORP 7.3.26

Well it all worked out perfectly.

Too many folk to thank individually but some folk do need a “Well Done”.

Sam our Loading Guru....squeezed 15 playgrounds into the container. (Sam is a member of the "Passport" RC).

Nellie and her Group of Young strong Bougainvillean friends.

Both Russell's...Pen 2.0 and Berwick RC's. (Truck and Fork Lift drivers)

Both suppliers of the Forklifts...Greg from RCMM  and Ray from the nursery.

Plus many others.

The 15 playgrounds will depart next Wednesday - Thursday en route to Siem Reap Cambodia.

Six playgrounds still in storage....hopefully a container to Bougainville mid year onwards.

All in all a great day.....👍👍

Rotarian Wayne Jenkins, Project Coordinator
Rotary Overseas Relocated Playgrounds (RORP)

A very big week for Captain RORP Wayne Jenkins with a Container of 15 playgrounds loaded and en route to Siem Reap in Cambodia.

We had a successful Village BBQ raising $683 towards our RYLA participant TinTin Clinch who assisted.

We thank the Community Bank Mount Martha for their continued support with our Village BBQ's.

Please remember that there is no meeting this week as Monday is a public holiday.

On Friday 13th we will be cooking up a lot of sausages at Mount Martha Primary School between 2pm and 5pm, again we thank Community Bank Mount Martha for supporting this event.
