Last Monday we held a Projects Meetings, where we agreed on the Mount Martha Primary School project where the funds will support their science project.
We heard from Peter Wiltshire about the development of our relationship with Mount Martha Primary School and Quinn's Place and the incredible results from the Wheelchairs for Kids event at Balcombe Grammar. $4,532 was raised on the day plus $1,375 from our Bunnings BBQ which totalled $5,907. This will result in helping 21 children into wheelchairs who would otherwise remain on the ground.
Michael Jones also updated us on the Padua College Mock Interviews and the great work that Phyl Scales does.

A tremendous result from the Balcombe Grammar Wheelchairs for Kids - which will help over 20 children literally “get off the ground”!
Byron shared with us examples of our Village Christmas Decorations which have been produced by the New Peninsula Men's Shed.
This week we have our Board Meeting at 4.30pm and guest speaker Merv Stewart from the Sunrise Wanderers and we look forward to hearing what this group does.

BBQ Village - Ritchies 23.9.25
Last Tuesday Ritchies held its annual Community Day and our BBQ raised $600 which will go towards our Pride of Workmanship project this year.

The club is once again selling Christmas cakes and puddings. Those who purchased cakes previously know how delicious they are!
The Christmas cake project is a project of Rotary Darwin South in District 9560. Rotary Darwin South donates the profits to The Rotary Foundation - and Rotary Mount Martha will be credited for the amount that we raise.
Rotary Mount Martha will make a small amount from the sale of each cake which will go into our club account.
Cakes come in a reusable tin for $22 or in a box for $20, and they will make a great gift for Christmas!
