From President Anne
Our visit from Peninsula Rotaract Club was inspiring, we welcomed Lily, Charlotte and Quinney who spoke enthusiastically about the projects their club is championing both here and in Nepal.
From a garden project at a mental health facility in Pokhara, Nepal to a mural in Kathmandu which will display Rotary’s 7 areas of focus plus a twin mural on our Peninsula to their local “Toothbrush, Toothpaste” project.
Our club was pleased to donate $250 of toothbrushes and toothpaste with more donations from our members.
The Peninsula Rotaract team doing amazing work!
Ritchies IGA 24.9.24
Tuesday saw us in the Village supporting the Ritchies IGA community day, we sizzled sausages and distributed bauble boards and the local community was delighted. We raised $430 and thank IGA for donating the sausages and bread.
