When Community Bank Mt Martha Director, Nick Roberts OAM heard about Rotary Club of Mt Martha initiative to bring Christmas decorations to Mt Martha Village, he decided to donate his directors $1,000 to this exciting concept. Nick loves Christmas and the thought of shops in the Mt Martha Village displaying Christmas baubles, decorated by our local community was to too good not too.
The Rotary Club of Mount Martha is going to bring some Christmas cheer to Mount Martha this year.
They are asking the community to decorate “baubles” which will be displayed in the shops and businesses. The base boards will be supplied, and they are asking schools, kindergartens, childcare groups, families, local groups and individuals to decorate their bauble. A selection process will decide the best decorated baubles, which the shop and the decorating group or family will be announced at this year’s Mount Martha Carols by the Bay. But it’s all about creating a community pride project.
